When preparing the consolidated financial statements, the challenge is to collect and combine a wide variety of information from local companies into a uniform group view. In addition to the information required under commercial law, the speed and complexity of the financial statements are becoming increasingly important. <\/span><\/p>


Issues such as fast close, constant changes in accounting and increasing requirements for the preparation of consolidated financial statements demand specialist knowledge and many resources from companies. This requires fast and flexible adaptation options. At the same time, the processes must be simply structured and efficient. <\/span><\/p>

The solution <\/span><\/b><\/p>

With the embedded solution from etageeins GmbH, we integrate the IBM Cognos Controller consolidation software into our Smart Consolidation & Performance KIT solution as a globally established tool. The Smart Consolidation & Performance KIT is based on several modules. <\/span><\/p>

Module 1: SFCP Converter<\/b><\/p>

A tool for accessing data and reports for users who want to have reports available offline. Target group: CFO, stakeholders, investors. Data and reports based on Excel and\/or PDF can also be delivered by email. <\/span><\/p>

Module 2: SFCP Consolidation<\/b><\/p>

The SFCP module is a tool for scheduling consolidation routines. <\/span><\/p>

Customizing is individually adjustable. The module enables efficient and intuitive storage of capital consolidations, currency translation and calculation of key figures.

<\/span><\/p>

Module 3: SFCP Comments<\/span><\/b><\/p>

The module enables the import of comments that are created outside the consolidation tool and are required for the consolidated financial statements. With our SFCP Comments tool, these can be imported and exported for commenting on individual amounts in the balance sheet and income statement. <\/span><\/p>

Module 4: SFCP Currency<\/b><\/p>

SFCP Currency offers a direct link to the respective national banks or the ECB. Both average rates and closing rates can be imported into the consolidation solution. Manual entries are therefore no longer necessary. This speeds up the closing process and increases data quality.

<\/span><\/p>

Module 5: SFCP Reporting<\/span><\/b><\/p>

The SFCP Reporting system has been developed for the creation of presentations for internal and external purposes. Complete structures and data can be transferred to the graphical front-end. This facilitates and accelerates the creation of presentations in the corporate design for banks, investors and the board of directors.<\/span><\/p>


Module 6: SFCP Notes<\/span><\/b><\/p>

SFCP Notes enables the fast preparation of the financial statements and notes disclosures for the IFRS consolidated financial statements. Predefined IFRS-compliant but customizable form sets provide process managers with an indispensable set of tools. The integrated workflow control determines who can and must record which data and when. The time required for the coordination and administration of the closing process is reduced immensely and the controllers can concentrate on the technical content.
